Default Paint help?

Hi Guys,

I have some sun damage on my rear trunk lid. I was going to re-clear but a friend mentioned that the paint might just be single stage....for the life of me I searched and could not come up with the answer...So I guess the question would be is my c70 2004 passion red 612 single stage or base/clear

Thanks

Chappy

have you tried this .. 2000 grit wet / dry paper, bucket warm soapy water( dishwashing stuff will work ) a sponge,, soak the paper in the water for 15 min, wraps around the sponge ( do this in the shade please )and sand away 2000 w/d paper will not take much off at all sane the boot lids, let dry, look at it, need more, go for it,, after you get it to your liking, get some rubbing compound and polish the paint that you just sanded,, might work and you will be out only 7-8$
