Default quick question...

Searched the forum but did not find a suitable answer. A quick question, is the hand brake adjusted at the handle/console or at the rear brake disk? Does it use the disk or does it have it's own shoe pads in the hub? Ok... so that was two quick questions. [sm=chattypair.gif]

Default RE: quick question...

There is a set of shoes in the rear disc. There is an opening on the rear rotor that you make the first adjustment thru. Expand the shoes until the wheel does not turn and then back it off 4 to 5 notches. Then the final adjustment is made at the hand brake assembly. At the rear of the console there is a cover that must be removed and then it is simply a matter of tightening the nut at the end of the brake handle. Supposedly the 'full braking' mode should be when the handle is raised about five notches.
