I changed the plugs bc these codes mean random misfire and exhaust camshaft position timing- over- advanced (bank1). That didn't do it. Now I'm not sure what's next. Someone here suggested ignition coils, but they're $55 ea, and there's 5 of them. I have never done car mechanics, but I can learn, I'm just not sure what to do next. I don't have tons of money. I don't know where exactly these coils are. Does anyone have any they'd want to sell? Any suggestions for a next step highly appreciated. So glad it's not the transmission like I thought. Thecheck engine light is still on. Is there a way to figure out which coil is bad or multiple coils?
