I imagine this is a stupid question... butwe really can't figure this out....

My Dad justbought a used Volvo convertible but did not get the owners manual from the original owner (she's in jail, but that's not important). Anyhow, we can't for the life of us figure out how to move the front seats forward to make access to the rear seats easy. Most coupes have the front seat slide forward when you pull the seatbackforward to attempt to enter the rear seat. These do not do that. What are we missing here? Thanks for indulging this because it is probably a simple "pull the level you don't see moron" or "push the Seat Forward button" question... but we really are stuck. Any help would be appreciated.

Does the handle on the side of the seat not fold the seat foward?
When you pull the handle up you should be able to fold the seat foward.

 

I want to know why "she" is in jail.................
