Angry Seek your expertise- Driver window controls and locks not working

I just joined this forum. I'm a proud owner of 2007 C70, formerly owned S80, Jeeps, Land Rovers/Range Rover (glutton for punishment, I guess)- my question is and I truly hope someone is able to assist, is that my drivers-side door has had non-functioning window controls and locks for 2-months now (been busy and trying mitigate it) it's been bad, even having my window stuck with a 3 inch gap, and I had to put plastic and duct tape on it. I also now have paint on my trunk/boot lid chipping-off/ peeling down to the bare metal, but the driver window controls (for all windows)/ driver's side door lock, is far more urgent of needing a fix

It's been diagnosed at 2 shops, the codes are just showing intermittent non-communication with the window master switch, BUT, the mirror works and is housed in the same switch, the door lock does not (I have to manually lock/ unlock with key)- I had the last import repair shop get the window up manually as far as they could, whilst still be able to close the door, though it does not go up and down (as my passenger-side does, to seal the gap). Obviously i can't use the convertible top, but more importantly, I cannot open it for drive thru service at banks, etc.

When "fixing" this (they couldn't) and I cannot afford to take it to the dealer after just replacing my belts and 4 hours of diagnostics, the seat being removed and now it will not tilt/ lean, as the broke that function. so I'm hoping someone has a fix, ideas, or anything as I'm out of ideas, and patience ith it!

I just bought a used drivers side switch, and will put it in after some work mtgs, and """HOPE""" it works, but It seems odd that it would be that, as the mirror control still works... also my passenger side window and lock control work perfectly. I checked fuses again (low-hanging fruit), and they're all intact. if the replaced switch doesn't work, I'm not sure what else to do- they found nothing more in code errors, when being diagnosed.

Thank you ahead of time, for any input into this, I'm getting so much moisture in my car now, and really need to get this remediated as soon as possible, it's the storm & warm season here, and I'm sure the added moisture is wreaking havoc on other systems too.
