In the last few days I noticed that when I first start driving, like from the driveway to the streetcorner, the car hesitates during accelleration. Also while idling it seems to have missfires or something, irregular jolts that shake the car slightly. Once I accellerate a little more it goes away and is fine from then on.

I recently put new plugs in it, double platinum, and gapped them correctly. I also just replaced the fuel pressure regulator.

Doea anyone know what could cause this? Bad wires/coils? clogged fuel filter?

nope, nothing. I'll read codes tonight anyway in case the cel bulb is dead or something

 

I wasn't too far off: the CEL is malfunctioning. I got 8 error codes and 9 pending. Enough to give it a name (Project 17 for 17 codes) and start a new thread for it: https://volvoforums.com/forum/showth...595#post261595
