When closing my 2001 C70 top, at the time the cycle should end, and the windows should go up, and the chime should sound, it does not. If I let go of the switch, and immediately push it again, in the "top up" position, the windows raise, and the chime sounds. Does anyone know what the problem is? I know it's not a big deal, but if it's a simple fix, I would like to have it working properly. When lowering the top, everything works as it should. Thanks for the help.

 

I have the same exact thing on mine, I have to let go and press the switch a second time to get the chime, otherwise it keeps beeping when I start driving the car. I just keep it this way, at least for now. Maybe sometime I look into it if this can be changed.
