When I lowered my sunroof there was an unusual noise. When I glanced back the vinyl cover didn’t look quite right. Now it only closes a couple of inches and refuses to go any further. I am wondering whether the string controlling the vinyl has broken so that it is stuck in the mechanism.

Any suggestions?
