Default Transmission question

New to me,03 c70. When upshifting from 2nd to 3rd there is sometimes a slight hesitation then it slams into 3rd,and when downshifting fro 2nd into 1st it slams also.its even worse in stop and go traffic. I was told it could need a software update. What? Not sure exactly what that is or how it could correct the problem

IF . . . that was the problem you'd need to take it to a dealer to have that done.

Agree - u need to ask the dealer to see if your car is on the current version of software. Have you checked your fluid level and color/smell? How many miles on the car? A set of drain/fills (using the correct fluid type for your model) may help...
