Default volvo c70 2008 130k miles missing cam sensor

Hello,we think we've narrowed the issue down to a failure in the cam sensor but we've scoured the internet and asked volvo mechanics and dealers on where the sensor exactly is but we can't find it. I've taken some pictures in the approx area, if someone could help highlight it, that'd be wonderful, thank you.

They (there's 2) are mounted on the ends of the cams. And it's probably not a cam sensor. They don't fail very often. What codes do you have and why do you think a cam sensor is bad? I think you are just guessing, and that gets expensive and frustrating.

Default Hi

Hey, so my pops is saying the OBD reader is showing no cam sensor at all. I'm getting a crank no start, we recently replaced the motor mounts to resolve a vibration noise and replaced the battery in the key fob.

I have error codes P0365, P0340, P0016 on my zr13 reader. We replaced the camshaft sensors and now it's starting much more reliably. Although about 33% of the time we try to crank it will crank no start.

Not meaning the sensor is bad - it means the cam is in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Would the timing be off by a singular tooth cause these issues? Replacing both sensors seems to have helped a bit. Thanks again

Well prior to replacing the sensors the vehicle wouldn't start at all. It would only crank. After replacing, the vehicle will start but after shut off it will crank no start for roughly 5s then start with the same prior engine codes.
