Default Water pump access

So I walked outside and noticed that my small coolant leak, all of a sudden turned into a huge leak. Ive checked most of the upper hoses but now I want to see if its coming from the water pump. Can anyone tell me how to access the water pump(where it is). I have a 99 C70. Thanks.

The water pump is under the timing cover. Remove the top cover with 2 t30 screws then the side cover has 1 12 mm bolt then remove the cover and you will be able to inspect the water pump. If the pump is leaking I would replace the t-belt and aux belt as you will have to remove to replace the pump. good luck

I have been having the same problem. I have a very slow leak in coolant. I checked all the hoses and found no leaks. Please let me know about the water pump or if it could be something else.

well I checked the water pump, and that was not it. After tracing through the engine compartment all the green streaks. It turns out the bottom of the coolant resevoir was cracked and I couldn't see it. So I bought a new one and presto! no more leaks!
