Will 16x16.5" Meteor wheels from a V70R fit a 2002 C70 Volvo that originally came with 17" wheels and the bigger brake rotors? Do you need spacers, etc, or will the be a direct swap? The wheels look like my 17" Comets, but smaller... thinking of a set for winter tires, but don't know if they'd work.

 

My understanding is that if you have the large rotors the 16 inch rims will not fit.

 

2 people at volvospeed.com posted that they WILL fit...one even posted pics of his C70 with Meteors on it...now I'm even more confused.
