hi, we have a 1999 coupe and unfortuntely have the infamous windnoises as well. i found one post about it for a 2001 model and tech said that after you take off the panel you will see 2 bolts with torx - then you can try your luck with adjusting.
does the 1999 model have the same mechanism? i had the panels off already but couldn't see anything like that. maybe someone has a picture of a door without the panels off and the location of the mechanism pointed out.

Sorry no pics here.

The screws are in the bottom of the door at the front and back.

There is usually a piece of foam over them. Usually one is round and the other is square.
