Like a number of owners my xc 60 recharge would only start- recognize my key when in the console well. Shop did a battery refresh and new computer download. What do these mean? Thanks Mark

 

I can only assume they put a new battery in the fob to see if that would boost the signal and they did a software update to the car to make sure your programs are on the most current version levels. Keep in mind there are probably 10+ different computers in a modern car (aka "control modules") and just like your phone or computer, Volvo periodically updates the software for bug fixes and improved reliability.
