Hi Everybody. I got my 2023 xc60 recharge in early Feb and so far I’m loving it. My one complaint is with the App.
The features are severely lacking. For example, it would be great to control via the App if you want to start the car in Pure mode or Hybrid mode. My default preference while in my garage is to start in Pure mode for obvious carbon monoxide reasons.
However, when I’m out and about in the NE where it’s cold, I want to be able too start the car remotely and warm it up in Hybrid mode (as it does not seem to start in Pure mode unless connected to the charger). This does not work, and it’s a big bummer, especially since many other cars nowadays have the ability to be warmed up via app.

My other beef with the mobile app is that it often seems to keep “running” even when the car is off. There is a button that says “stop,” but this does not seem to work at all — you can’t actually turn the car/warm-up system “off.” When I see that the app shows that the car is “on” I will quit, even log out, and then log in again, but this does not do the trick. Instead, I just leave it alone overnight and things seem to resolve.

Can anybody else share their experience with the app? I do not think it’s user error. And BTW, I have reset the center console several times as tech support told me there was a linkage between the console and the app.
