My '01 didn't come with the fog lights installed on the front spoiler. I wanted to get a set because I think the car would look nice with them. I see I can get them for pretty cheap but I have no idea what the installation is like.

Is there simply a open plug near where the light pods install that I hook into? Or do I need to do some custom wiring?

And at what position on my headlight **** would the lights come on at?

From what i heard only the dealer can put in the code to allow the headlights to turn on, but i have no experience with these.

 

The car is prewired but like Showtek said the dealer has to program the lightning module in order to make it work.Also a push button has to be installed which I guess the dealer will be more than happy to do for you.
