Hey ya'll
I bought a '05 s40 t5 awd last summer. I have dealt with using an fm transmitter docking station for my ipod. Would really like to use the surround sound and clarity that came with car, unfortunately it sounds terrible using fm signal. According to several dealer's they are not able to install a jack or converter in the '05 model. Suggestions?

Also, need new tires 205-55-r16's....suggestions?

 

This seems to be our only option. I don't know of anyone personally who has used it. For the price, I'd stick with the FM Transmitter, but if you give it a shot, let me know how it is

I think Myswedishparts.com offers such a system for the 2004.5-up S40 for $299 but a dealer programming is also needed so maybe we're talking about $400 for the conversion (not including installation). The FM transmitters are awful (I have one) but I am not willing to spend $400 right now to be able to listen to my ipod. But that's just me. Maybe you should give them a call if you're interested

 

Which system from MySwedishParts works? All I could find were plug and play systems for 07+ models.
