The iPod adapter and Sirius are both listed as accesories for the other Volvos but not the S40. Is it still possible to get these installed seamlessly like they should be and why aren't they listed on the site? I really want these things but neither are available for my S40 apparantly and I don't want to put clunky radio things on my dash.

 

I'm looking for the iPod connection as well, 'cause I'm tired of using the FM Modulator.

I did find this site, but it's not available for the S40, '06 model, yet.

I think I'll get on the mailing list for now, and I may run by the dealer and see what they say.

 

I have spent hours and hours trying to find something better than the FM modulator... no luck. Many people have done research for me and they say because of the integration of the car functions in the radio, and the fiber optic cabling, there are no options for us. I hope the aftermarket catches up quick![&:]

 

I have a couple of questions for you guys, I have a 2004.5 S40 (the first new body model) with out the CD changer and sub woofer. Is there a way for me to hook my ipod to my s40 without the use of an FM Transmitter? I have searched the forum already to try to find an answer but most of the things i found were for older model s40's.

you guys should take a look at a cleansweep(its made by JL), Its what I have, and currently use to attach my ipod. However its a bit expensive, 250$ plus 100$ to hav it installed. I have it in my 01 s80 t6, and it also makes the music sound better......
