Default '06 S40 Brake Problem

Hi all- newbie here seeking advice. I just took my '06 S40 to my Volvo dealer for its very first service at 7500K miles Saturday. I complained about agrinding noise I'd been hearing upon turning my steering wheel while braking (only when parking). The problem was resolved by replacing the front brake pads with "upgraded parts" and also removing the front strut assemblies and " repacking dry, noisy upper bearing assemblies with high temp grease."

I picked up the car Sundayand had aNEW problem, a very loud squealing noise every single time I braked which showed up after I drove it 5 miles or so. I took it back in yesterday and the problem was diagnosed as "backing plate touching rotor" and was "corrected." I'm frustrated to say I still hear a metal-on-metal squeal, but now the noise is isolatedto onlywhen I make some left turns (the sharper the turn, the louder the noise). Needless to say, I'm getting frustrated with 2 visits to the service department in 3 days [:@].

My question is, can I ignore this noise? or will this problem end up damaging my brakes or even decreasing the effectiveness of the brakes? at this point, it's just a minor nuisance to hear thissqueal and I wonder if the reassembled parts just need to settle in?

Pro's and techs...please help me out!

WELL... in my experience with new pads you will get some squealing till they are broken in. but thats when you are braking. i dunno if its still there in a couple days id take it back and find out whats goin on because they may not have done something right, or there might be a faulty part in there. dont let it go for too long as depending on what it could be there may be more damage caused i.e. rotors calipers ect

i also have the same problem before, but i luckily found a solution for that problem with my car.It ended when i used volvo brakes that does not make that unwanted sounds which triggers to shorten the life of breakpads due to constant wear especially in slippery roads.
