I am trying to find out if anyone has installed a sub in a new 2006 s40 with the premium stereo package. I have researched the car in great detail and it is not easy to add another amplifier to the car as its optical. You can addthe factory sub but that cost approx. $900.00 dollars. Way to much. So I was wondering how to hook this up and make it a clean installation with regard to the sound. I am not looking for the boomy sound, but the punchy sound for rock. any help would be great....
