Can anyone recommend something? The dust cover on the gear selector has started to break, slowly but surely, right now only half of it is visible. Of course when you move it into drive you do not notice it. Will this be an expensive fix or is there something that is DIY? For some reason I worry that Volvo will want to replace the entire selector.

It is the really thin sheet that hides in the inside of the gear selector. I can't be the only person this has ever happened to. It's not aesthetically pleasing to look at in my almost pristine interior. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
