I have reached the 105,000 miles service point. Does this service just include replacing the timing belt. I called a repair shop and they quoted me $1,000. I'm just wondering if that is the normal price for this service? It seemed quite high to me.
I drive a 2000 S40 Turbo.

how much does that 105k service run you, it looks like they do change the timing belt?

 

timing belt replacement for me at Volvo with tensioner pulley and labor was about $700.
