depends if you have the money, what condition the car is in, and if the car actually needs it or not. a good oil change and a check up on the brakes is prolly enough....

 

Not $700 worth. Get to an independent. All Tune and Lube by me is excellent, so is AAMCO.. Tom

 

i just bought 2001 s40 with 88k on it. dealer wanted $450 for 90k services. i checked what items to be done with it. basically, change oil, change oil brake, check transmission fluid ( top up only not change).

you can do all of them yourself. all you need to do is do a good research and do it.

if you are interested, i can share what i have done to my cars ( 2000 honda accord, 2004 toyota sienna, 2005 nissan fronties, and 2001 volvo s40). i am very handy at all. preventive car maintenance is a lot easier than fixing a car problem.
