I would like some advice regarding this car. It is as posted a 98 Volvo S40 T4 with only 80,000 KMS on the clock roughly 50,000 miles. The seller is asking approximately 7500 USD.

Do you think that this is a reasonable price? Or is it too much?

This is going to be my first ever car purchase and I would like something that is safe and reliable. In addition I will be starting a family soon and it will need to suit those needs as well.
