2000 S40 CEL, code P1449
Hey guys, I have had an error code for the better part of about 3 months now, P1449. My OBD 2 reader doesn't register this code and I am fairly sure that this is a dealer specific code. I have done plenty of research on this forum and on the internet as a whole, and I have heard a couple of different answers. The first is that I have bad O2 sensors, and the second is that there is a problem with my evap emissions system, possibly a bad leakage detection pump. Has anyone else encountered this code, and if so, what was the fix?
Thanks for your time helping me with this issue!

Update
UPDATE:
I finally took my S40 in to the dealership so that they could run diagnostics. The consensus is that I need a new evap leak diagnostic pump as mine is dead. They quoted me $540 for parts and about 1.5 hrs of work, I politely declined.
Does anybody have any experience replacing the leak diagnostic pump? I've heard it's in a tricky spot.

Final update on this thread for any others who have a P1449 issue.
I replaced the Leak Detection Pump. It was a very easy job that took me ~20 mins with the right tools. I got the OEM part for $170 including shipping. Not a difficult repair for a newbie like me. it was replaced in early March and the code has not returned since then.
