You know what? I just realized that the diagram Hudini posted is exactly what I was looking for all along. DOH!

 

Drove it to work today (around 70 miles round trip), and the CEL did not return. I checked for codes when I got home and it's all clean.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the problem is solved. I'm contemplating replacing the plastic guard under the nose of the car to help protect that hose/clamp a bit better.
