I've been having some trouble with my transmission so I brought it to my friend who owns a repair shop (he also has a '00 v40). He ran the codes and it is coming back with a bad transmission control or something like that. He thinks it might be a bad transmission though and not the control. Does anyone have any advice or experience with this?

If the codes are cleared how fast do they come right back?

 

I dont know yet, he just cleared them this afternoon and hasnt had a chance to take it out to see how long it will take for them to come back.

 

See if they come right back also see if you can get the codes as well.
