Exclamation 2001-Discrepancy in Adjusting headlamps

Ok, I have the 2001 volvo repair manual that dealers have. My headlamps are way off and I need to adjust them. I looked up how to adjust the headlamps and I got this process and picture:

I have the vertical Y distribution **** (as seen on the picture), however the horizontal X screw does not exist on either side of my head lights. Is there another way to adjust the horizontal beam of the headlights?

Here is a pic of one of my current headlights:

One other quick question, does the 2001 S40 have a bonnet/hood light. SO many of my lights have been out for so long, that I have no idea where some of them are. I checked the repair manual and it doesn't mention it. Could be there is no bonnet light?

Thanks Everyone!
