Default 2001 S40 Drivers Seat - Electric Switches / Motor inop

All, Good Morning!

I am hoping someone here can help. The drivers seat has some issues with the recline / up & Down movement of the seat. Not sure if its the motor or switches. The front / back feature works fine, but everthing else is stuck.

Any thoughts? Does anyone have a wiring schematic or suggestions or expierence for a simple fix? Hopefully it isnt anything complex or expensive...

Thanks in advance for your comments..

Did you try myswedishparts.com? You can always find a wrecker online. You might have to buy the whole seat though.

The actual root cause of the problem is the switch which is soldered on to the circuit board. I just need the switch which cant be $10 at the most.

Like I said, try to find a wrecker.

You can always post a WTB in the classified section. There could possibly be someone parting out their 40.
