2001 sunroof/sunscreen problem
Last night I opened my sunroof and the sunscreen somehow managed to get in front of the sunroof. So when I try to close it, it starts crushing the fiberglass sunscreen because its stuck on the other side of the leading edge of the sunroof.
I have since taken off the sunscreen (opened the sunroof all the way and pulled the 4 rail pins out of the sunscreen, then pull it out through the top) to get the sunroof to close at all, but I have no idea how to go about reseating it back onto the rails and behind the rear stop attached to the sunroof.
As the sunroof opens (not vents) the back end dips down to slide under the roof of the car, so I think thats where my problem is. I can't get the sunscreen over the bump in the back without having the sunroof all the way closed to get the clearance I need, but to have it all the way closed it'll already be crushing the front of the sunscreen.
I'd rather not take apart the inside lining of my car just to fix this...but I'll do it if its either that or paying some mechanic to fix it...
Thanks guys. Oh yea this is my first post here yay!
