Does anyone know where I could obtain a service manual for my S40? I've just purchased the vehicle and can't find a good source of information. I've purchased one of the CD's you can find on Ebay, but I've done this in the past for other vehicles and the quality has been very hit and miss. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

I did the same search as well. There are really no good printed service manuals.

The best thing is to look on eBay for VADIS. This is the Volvo service manual on a CD. You should be able to find a copy for less than $20. Good luck.

I did buy the Haynes service manual. It is nearly worthless.

 

Yeah, I've bought the Haynes manual for other vehicles I've owned and have never been very impressed. They're definitely the last option I chose
