Default Car leaking antifreeze!

My 2006 S40 is leaking antifreeze. I think it is coming from the cap because there is antifreeze on the inside of the top of my hood and it leaks onto the driveway when I get home. I drive about 60 miles each way to work and I usually notice it leaking after I get home in the evening. I have filled the antifreeze with the 50/50 mix that my manuel said to and I check the cap to make sure it is tight, but after it leaks it always seems loose. Any adivce would be greatly appreciated!

I found out that my coolant expansion tank is cracked on the bottom and the top and it is leaking out of there. I replaced it for $80 at the dealer.

Car overheating problems most of the time is caused by coolant leaks in the cooling system. Ninety percent of the time coolant leaks are easy to locate due to the fact that leaks can be obvious. Sometimes when the hood is raised coolant can be seen leaking or spraying from the problem area. The color of the coolant is green most of the time, however it could be orange or yellow depending on the make of the vehicle and the type of antifreeze that's in the system. Remember to never open the radiator or coolant cap on a hot system, even if there is little coolant in the system, steam could spray out that can cause scalding. New Car Keys Dallas
