Default 2002 S40 Bright Lights

I'm a new owner of a 02 S40. I haven't found a way to activate the high beams. I know the cruise control arm can be pulled back to flash high beams, but how do you activate them so they will stay on? Any help would be great. Thanks for everyones patience. This is a great car!!

With dipped beam head lights on pull the turn signal lever towards you and release - main beams on. To return to dipped beam pull the turn signal lever towards you and release.

I'm guessing "dipped" means "low beam". Thanks, Bill. Will try this after work.

on the 2002 s40,it depends on what postition ur main switch is in.If ur running headlights on all the time as I do,u can only activate the brights by pulling the stalk toward u and holding it on.If u release ur brites will go out.If u dont run ur headlites on all the time and only turn the lites on at nite, when u pull the stalk back the brites will comeon and stay on.BJ
