2002 Volvo S40 Parts - VolvoPartsConnect


The above website address is were I buy parts for my 2002 Volvo s40. The most recent item, I bought from them is a hood to replace my banged up old hood. Now they have a lot of accessories for the hood that I am not sure that I need.

The additional items are shown at this website. They are a hood seal ($30.82), a hood weatherstrip (front) ($18.07), a hood weatherstrip (rear) ($19.12) and hood clip ($1.26) (nine of them) and hood bumper out ($6.04) (two of them) and hood bumper inner ($5.29) (two of them).

Now this does add up. I do not remember ever these items on any other Volvo s40 in my make and year. I am just wondering if they are trully needed. As you can see none of them are expensive, but together they are quite a sum.
