I've been told that the 2003-2004 s40'sare more reliable than the first years models because most of the bugs have been worked out. Also the 2005 models have had some reliability issues. Is this true?

I have a 2002 s40 with now 103000 miles. It has been very reliable but I did have some tedious problems along the way. I have heard the 02, and the 04 models have been pretty good. I have not heard too much about the 05 except of some of the same things that I have dealt with with my car so it seems like some of the problems have not changed.
problems I encountered:
coolant temp sensor
engine light is very sensitive
spark plugs and coils go bad very fast( every 15000 miles or so)

Under warranty still...the dealership replaced my side view mirror safety light (twice). You know the light underneath the mirror so I can see where I am walking..just in case I can't see my door. haha!

Also my tires wore quicker than normal. But I drove the hell out of her, hence my sport suspension package.
