I have a 2003 S40 with 20,000 miles on it. I noticed that whenever the driver & passenger side window is opened slightly or half way, there is a annoying creaking sound coming from the window/door whenever I drive or hit a bump in the road. The noise doesn't happen when the window is opened all the way. The car is always kept clean, so I can't say the the tracks that guide the window up & down could be dirty. It's just a very annoying cracking sound that almost sounds like the window is about to break. Never bothered to have the dealer look at it because I don't think it's a major problem that they need to take care of & that I need to pay through the nose for. Anyone in the forum experience this problem with their S40? Thanks
