2004.5 - Brake failure. Stop safely.
Hello -
I have a 2004.5 S40, 2.5I, with about 75,000 miles. When starting this morning, after driving for a few minutes, the message display reads: "Brake failure. Stop safely." The ABS light came on at the same time.
The brakes seemed to respond fine, but I'd like to figure out what's happening.
Can I assume that this is because of an ABS problem, and the brakes will function fine?
