Anyone know how to access the back of the radio n the 2004.5 to 2006 s40's?

 

I've gone to three audio shops, and no one will touch this radio. It seems very integrated into the car, all those settings, etc. through the radio. I also hear we have fiber optic cables, which is suppose to improve quality, but makes it impossible for any aftermarket. Does anyone know of any firmware to convert the CD player into a mp3 player?
