2006 s60 t2.5 fwd checking engine light
hello check engine light was on and now is off,,,, hooked a obd2 cliked read codes but came up with a error message.....
disconnected reader hooked it up again same message..... is there another way of checking codes

A grey-market DICE code reader unit, combined with VIDA software, will give you EVERYTHING a dealer could see. They aren't too expensive, amounting to the cost of one visit to dealer.
If the code goes away, that's not a bad thing. The CEL was probably reacting to some condition that cured itself in the meantime, such as battery disconnected or run low by leaving lights on...
The code you saw will have been stored away, and it will still be accessible to the DICE unit.
