Yes, that process should provide you with updated readiness status.

Good luck with the test - hope it passes with flying colors (even it it's only black and white). ;-)

Was there any resolution to this?
I have a 2005 S40 that also is not passing emissions.
It's as if the computer is not remembering the data, all the monitors are always incomplete.

Does anyone know the module that stores the drive cycle data? Is it the CEM, the ECM or what?

Just to make sure - you haven't just reset any codes, right? Doing so resets all the readiness indicators to "not ready". If they are persistently showing that they're all "not ready", I have to think something is seriously wrong. ;-)
