My 2008 S40 just purchased wouldn't start today. After getting back out of the car, turning the alarm on again and then unlocking, it started. I am beginning to think that I should have just kept my Honda. I am nervous that this may be the long road to many mainteance problems.

may of just been a fluke with you tripping the immobilizer some how. wait and see if it does it again and post back if it does happen again.
