My 2009 S40 came with iPod connectivity...with my iPod Nano I can access playlists, etc. and can select random sequencing by playlist or for all music.

I was looking into getting a new iPod, possibly a classic or touch...does anyone know if those would work the same way?

Different question: When I select the AUX port and nothing is plugged in I can hear static. Is that normal? I usually don't plug anything into the AUX so it has not mattered so far.
