Default 2009 S40, need help on removing the center console!

Hello folks,
I have red and seen ma y videos on how to remove the waterfall console, but it is a little different on the 2009. I was able to disconnect everything except to get access to the 2 torque screws that holds the waterfall console to the arm rest console.
i disconnected the Blis switch and the 12V switch but i am afraid i will gave to lift the while arm rest console to gain access to the screws?
The reason i want to remove the waterfall console is that i want to replace the stock shifter lights to LEDs.
please i will appreciate any help.
best regards

In order to remove the radio panel you need to slide the center console back. In order to do this you need to first remove the trim around the emergency brake. Its gonna be a pain in the *** I must warn you. Once you have that trim off there are going to be 2 t25 screws way at the bottom of the armrest (you have to remove a panel at the bottom to reveal them). Once you have those out you take the squareish panel behind the radio panel. When you take that out there should be 2 more t25 screws that you have to take out. When you have taken those out, at the of that free space behind the radio panel there should be a rubber trim that you have to take off. Under the rubber pad on the left side there is a tab that you have to pry up a bit while you pull the center console back to reveal the last 2 screws for the radio panel.

Better late than never. Replaced the shifter blind on my 2008 S40 yesterday. I had a heck of a time finding this info. The missing bits for me were the two screws in the bottom of the storage box of the center console, and then removing the coin tray behind the waterfall to access a clip so the console structure was mobile enough that those darn torx screws could be accessed. Here it is, step by step with excellent photos:
