my ac was working just fine until I started having battery problems. I don't drive it much, but I start it up every so often to get the juices flowing. one day after having to boost the battery the ac just didn't work.
anybody know if there's a connection between the 2 issues?

 

check fuses? its possible you popped a fuse when you did the jump. Did you measure voltage at the battery with the engine running to make sure the alternator is charging?

 

Besides the fuses no once the car is running the AC should work , probably due to little use the seals hardened and leaked , take it to an AC chaps they should tell you what needs fixing for free , then you can decide if its worth fixing , well thats how it works here in RSA
