Hi,

I need to run a 12v feed from the battery to run an amplifier in the boot / trunk.

Can anyone tell me where I can get access.

From previous cars I presume there is a rubber 'grommet' somewhere but I can't find it.

I have a right hand drive model but I'm not sure whether this matters.

Any help would be great.

EDIT - The car is a Volvo S40 2.0T 2000 'x' - Sorry!

 

There should be some rubber grommets where other wiring from the engine bay enters the firewall. Find a bundle of wires and run them til you find where they enter the vehicle. Might take awhile to find the right bundle of wires but you should be able to do it.
