Default Advice needed of Lower Control Arms bushings

I recently bought my daughter a 2006 S40 T5 AWD and it needs new Lower Control Arm bushings.
Has anyone here done this themselves? If so, how hard/easy was it?
Did you buy entire new arms with bushings and ball joints or just the parts?
Does anyone know of any good instructional videos out there covering the S40 LCA R&R? I've looked and there isn't much on YouTube covering the S40. Some detailing the bigger Volvos, but not the S40 specifically.
Any other advice would be great. Thanks in advance!

I'd recommend going with new control arms with the bushings already pressed in. It takes a lot of force to press in the bushings - so unless you have the right tools, its cheaper to get replacements vs going to a machine shop. I believe your model has the ball joint built in so you need to separate the ball joint then remove the bolts holding the arm in.

That's all nonsense. Buy new lower A-arms and be done with it. They run about $130 each Volvo part.
