ARE ALL S40 T5s AWD???

I purchased a T5 back in March 06 and believed that it was a RWD. However, some people have informed me that all T5 models are AWD, is that true?

 

No, I have an '06 S40 T5 that is front wheel drive. All '07 S40 T5's are AWD.

 

Well what I have bolded in the above quote is totally crazy. Volvo hasn't made a RWD car since the 960 I believe. All current Volvo's are either FWD or AWD. And the AWD system isn't even a true full-time AWD system. It disconnects at 30MPH and goes to FWD.

 

Nope, just got a 2007 T5 FWD - really nice!

FWD's are still being sold but only come in auto form.
