ok, when i bought my car from the dealer, he wasn't really aware of what he was selling. he didnt know that it didnt have the audio package, and i didnt know that without the audio package, you don't have a AUX port. i want to know if i can hardwire one in, because all the dealer offers is to put this ipod connecter/fm transmitter, and i dont have an ipod, i have a different mp3 player. thanks

 

You can use an FM transmitter with your MP3 player. Just have to find one that works with your MP3 player. They all suck IMO but it is better then nothing.

And anything is possible. You just have to figure it out that is the hard part. So to answer your question yes you can put an AUX. in your car.

 

thanks. the fm transmitter thing. i heard that they cause a lot of static. the ipod connector from volvo is a fm transmitter too, and i heard it sucked. how much do you think its gonna cost for the aux port?

 

you could go the cleansweep way, that will give u a lot of Aux ports, and will also make the sound in your car sound a lot better too.... but they go for about 300$......
