So lately i bought an Volvo S40 from 2005, and therefore i'm searching for an solution where i can connect my mobile to the car stereo. Does anyone have an solution? Either via bluetooth aux.
Which factory stereo system do you have? If it is the Premium (speaker in center of dash) you can add a Denison Gateway 500. This will give you Aux in, iPhone and USB capability. I think the Denison has an option for bluetooth also. Otherwise, you can use an FM transmitter or wire in an FM modulator that has such inputs.

Actually, they all look the same except when turning it on, the Premium system will say "Premium" on the display for a few seconds and the other doesn't. Also, when CD is selected, the Premium will show 6 discs. Also, the Premium has a center speaker in the dash.
I started with a fm transmitter ugg no way , then I tried fm antenna adapter and better but hiss, then I said why can’t I buy the 2008 waterfall with mode button and 2008 Volvo s40 radio w aux, I just want to see radio show aux when pressed mode button. Well did it and no issues all works but mode button does same thing my 06 waterfall with cd button did just nothing, went to cd mode insert disc. I’m thinking Volvo needs to program it or the heck w aux buy a Bluetooth spkr lol geez This is new waterfall and radio
