Default Axle shafts

Just got an S40 this week 112k. High speed vibration, uphill and on throttle. Stops when off throttle. Pretty sure its the passenger axle shaft. When I grab it at the motor you can move it around and it clicks loudly. Question, how bad is bad for the other side. It barely moves, no noise. Should I do them both?

I have axles for both sides at Autozone waiting. Has anyone had a bad experience with AZ half axles?

CHeers,

BTW, Did you guys notice that they put the motors in these cars sideways??? What's up with that???????

What? Sideways? I better check mine. :/

AZ reman shafts are garbage, and unless you're flat broke like me, I'd go with EMPI for 90 120 bucks each.

Your engine longitudinally mounted. Very common in fwd cars.

Stay away from AZ junk parts.
